Once a for-profit college, the former and quite aged founder currently sits on the board and gets a stipend and there are many other irregularities for want of a better nomenclature. For those wanting to understand what is at minimum, bad optics, do check-out this story and while I found a compelling read, it is a bit long so you can skip past the middle to learn more about the somewhat questionable governance practice.
