My recent Farm Bureau newsletter reminded me that there are still some pretty simple fundraising activities that even the smallest nonprofit can conduct.
Aparently, 1,267 soda can tabs equal a pound of aluminum. A pound of aluminum earns about 40 cents. While I recognize we are generally supposed to be poo-pooing soda, I think there remains plenty of folks who haven't surrendered giving up this nectar-filled fluid. So, with a few volunteers and a small distribution network I would imagine many nonprofits can have some success with this little gem of an idea.
