Apparently cause-related marketing can still offer some hope for nonprofits trying to raise funds. Cause-related marketing is how a nonprofit can partner with a for-profit to pry away money from folks who would otherwise not be donors.
A recent and hopefully effective example shows up in the Washington Post's (fashion) Trend Report. The product is moisturizer that has been creatively packaged to raise bucks for a nonprofit that installs art in children's hospitals.
