The story from nwi.com tells of "a 79-year old man, accused of taking more than $50,000". It's not clear how or why "officials" got involved by their findings revealed the facts that money was going out-the-door and not being spent for the intended purposes.
A quick internet search revealed that the past-treasurer in question remains on references for the Hunky Hollow Athletic Club as the registered agent and contact person. On the Cerebral Palsy site, under the listing of officers, the Treasurer position is blank.
