Continuing here at the Kansas City UKMC Conference on Governance.
A question: how's your board doing around what by some standards are considered the three functions of a board:
Fiduciary -- caring for and overseeing the work and mission
Strategic -- looking forward and addressing efficiency and effectiveness
Generative -- developing new ideas around how to best serve market
Possibly Part and parcel of Strategic and perhaps Generative or possibly a fourth function is transformational which is change-focused (internally or programmatically).
Citation is important because not citing the work of another person when you use his ideas is equivalent to plagiarism and plagiarism is a grave offense in the academic world.
